Image of Infinity - This was inspired by the stunning imagery found in the poems of Sanijibsaha Aniketa. He graciously gave me permission to use a title of one of his beautiful poems for the name of my painting. The painting is in mspaint

Hi-- at first i want to pay my full respect to you, as you put the special recognition of my poem -- Image of infinity.  Independently , if we consider the painting, i can mention it as a special one. The imagery is great. The faces -- man & woman -- engraved within the wide chest of earth , are the basic sources of lives which are being created by the mixing of love of them. The flowing stream is the symbol of flowing wave of life. The leafless tree may reflect the ocassional distress of life , but still there is a hope, for which , we can easily observe the leafy & lively tree , side by side. It is obvious that lifeless & leafless tree always shows the reflecting image under the water, but that's not the true, trueth is different and it is always been cospicuous above the soil -- within the vast nature. The colours  - the patches of colours  of figures -- the sky -- put special significance. HappyCertificateRed StarBronze

well the other visitors already said it all. Certificate
It is a great painting and I like it especially because you have used such a great pallette of
colours, like all colours of the rainbow, but yet still it is all in harmony .

 Keep up your good work.

Cathy you alway put the beholder's in trouble by putting it on their side as to what they perceive from your paintings... so clever painter Wink now let me interpret... in my way... may be one face is you other is your subconscious talking to each other... OR... one is present and other is your past in dark while a river inside.. so both can't be together anyway... past is past.. and you made it dark (the right side) so it could be bad memories or something like that... but hey.. the present is bright and colorful... so your focus is to stay happy and composed and live as bright as you can.... did I  narrate it right Cathy Sad hehehe... excellent work btw. Keep up MedalCertificate

Thank you for letting me know about this new painting of yours.
Beautifully done!  I have not read the poem which has inspired you to do this artwork but I'm sure you have done full justice to it. I like the way you have brought forward the colours of the sky into the foreground..does tie-in the picture very nicely. The two faces gazing at each other is an excellent touch too!

Really cool painting Catherine. To be inspired by words and to capture that as a image is wonderful indeed! I love how the river winds away in to the distance and one wonders where it might end. Oh and I simply love the face that you can make out through the many different colours. I think you could make that a trademark of yours, I will always look now for a face hidden somewhere in your paintings waiting to be discovered! Or maybe they are the ones making the discovery along the river.Makes one think! x:))
