I LEAD A SIMPLE LIFE WITH MUSIC BORN INTO MY SOUL. AT AGE 9 I BEGAN PLAYING THE VIOLIN, AND SANG ALL THE TIME. MY FRIENDS WOULD PLAY OUTSIDE AND I WOULD SING WHILE WATCHING OR PLAYING WITH THEM ....SICK I KNOW.

FOR MANY YEARS I USE TO BELIEVE THAT IF A GIRL WASNT A SOPRANO ( NOT TONYS FAMILY ) THEN PEOPLE DIDNT WANT TO LISTEN. SO MY HORRIBLE ATTEMPTS WERE FRUSTRATING, AND TERRIBLE!!!..YOU COULD HEAR THE STRAIN IN EVERY NOTE. FINALLY I GAVE IN TO THE FACT THAT IM AN ALTO AND STARTING SINGING IN MY COMFORT ZONE. I CAN BRIEFLY AND I DO MEAN BRIEFLY HIT A HIGH NOTE OR TWO THEN SCURRY BACK DOWN ..LOL... NOW, SEVERAL PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS LIKE KD LANG, ANN MURRAY, AND MY FAVORITE .~.GIGI MACKENZIE ~ HAS PROVEN THE THEORY WRONG. SO I NOW CHOOSE SONGS AND ARRANGEMENTS THAT I LOVE AND CAN SING, WITHOUT INFLICTING PAIN ON OTHERS OR MYSELF,.. RATHER THAN WHAT OTHERS WANT TO HEAR. ( NO MARIAH OR CELINE FOR ME)..LOL

wish you the most fantabulous friday. i did another a capella song yesterday and i have pone planned for today - then i will stop for a while with the a capella songs, because it takes a lot of my concentration. and now i have holidays, but monday it's back to work again. but there are enough other fine songs to record. every time i think i am running out of songs, i find a new one.
and i still have to finish a song of my own.
