I started singing and playing guitar when I was 14 years old. My Dad taught me enough to be able to strum a few chords so I could accompany myself to a few songs. We would often sing together.

 When I was 21 I lost my Dad, and any incentive to want to sing again. It was a very long time before I could pick up a guitar again let alone sing. One day someone threw a guitar in my lap and said PLAY!

 I guess now I am trying to make up for all that lost time. I know in my heart he would have wanted me to keep on singin.
