Blessed by the L-rd I venture through life as a pilgrim, finding my way, winding through the sometimes narrow sometimes wide streets of time, turning to the left, returning, turning to the right - exploring the beauty that is life. We have been given life to live life and as the dawning of our days draws nigh, our eyes open ever wide in quiet amazement at this gift we have been given.
Heaven on earth, there is such a place and it starts in each of us, reaching out and warming the chilly night air, bringing hope, love and a sense of well being, even in the midst of wars, famine and disease. For what is disease but something gone a-muck, not working right, not-at-ease. Ergo, our modern vocabulary so filled with words that "dis" people, places and things. I'm sure many, if not most, of you have heard someone who felt offended by another ask the question, "Why did you dis me?"
Shalom. It is there, here; embrace your Peace and then share it with the world.
Thou O L-rd wilt keep him [me, you, us]
In perfect Shalom [Peace]
Whose mind is stayed
[thinks about, meditates upon, reads the Word and then contemplates]
upon Thee!
