There is this musical "Wilhelm Reich in Hell". Well, that has nothing with this track. The Google Ads however, seem to think otherwise... And I'm not so sure if ZEB Devices are "better than Orgone" Another ad displayed here sometimes says: "Get Orgone Tools+Zappers"...do they actually sell Cloudbusters to people who don't know how to use them? ...I wonder...

Aye, that is one of the old original Novation BassStations - got it in 1994 (from the same Manchester shop where I used to buy miles and miles of 456 tape!). Had to pre-order it too coz, at the time, they were selling like hot cakes due to all the press blurb about them being designed to "emulate those TB303 acid sounds"! And the blurb was absolutely true too, although, unlike the 303, the Novation did not have an integral sequencer, so you needed to buy an outboard one on top, which in them days I could not afford. That said, I wasn't too interested in all of that back then - all I wanted to do was make lots of squelchy sounding analogue(ish) bubbles! Of course, now, there are desktop 303 clone sequencers aplenty. Cool

As for that light-hearted element that you mentioned - I reckon there is often a light-hearted touch or feel to your tracks. It is partly that balance of light and dark, or darkly humourous factor, plus inventive and melodic explorations which make your music so interesting.

Well, I hope that only happens if it truly deserves such an honour when compared to the hundreds of other really SUPERB tracks in there - no false modesty intended but I'm not sure it really does? Once I've completed a track, I rarely listen to it because each one tends to annoy Hammer

me a bit - there's always parts that I feel should have been done differently or better.
Nevertheless, your opinion and appreciation of my stuff always makes me feel happy and good. Happy
